• Freight Bill Auditor I


This is a immediate full-time position in our Audit department. The ideal candidate must have at least three years experience in auditing freight bills, with a required background in Transportation/Logistics. Must possess a strong business aptitude and technological abilities, in addition to being responsible for auditing freight bills using the applicable contracts for accuracy, and making adjustments as needed. Also responsible for handling the contract structures set up between clients and carriers to ensure that the clients are billed properly.

Job Requirements
Associates Degree and three or more years transportation and audit related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Professional knowledge
- Industry knowledge of transportation, logistics and supply chain.
- International knowledge of all required shipping and auditing criteria including commodity, duty, tax and associates paperwork and guidelines.
- Working knowledge of import and export traffic management.
- Ability to effectively screen manual and electronic freight bills.
- Ability to recognize discrepancies such as overcharges.
- Ability to review and interpret contracts and maintain rate binders.
- Ability to communicate problems and progress with Manager of Audit Services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office application, strong 10-key skills and attention to detail, while demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness.
