Career Opportunities
This is a full-time position in our TMS department that participates in the implementation of web-based TMS applications as a business analyst. The position involves formulating/designing system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop and modify web-based TMS applications. Also responsible for applying expertise to improving business processes and supporting critical business strategies, while seeking opportunities to educate customers in the strategic use of technology. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Logistics, and at least a minimum of four (4) years of related experience and/or training with transportation management systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Professional Knowledge - Industry knowledge transportation and carrier contracts - Prior experience with carrier (LTL, Truckload, Parcel, etc.), data management and reporting - Strong analytical skills utilizing multiple variables to make consistent decisions - Independent judgment to determine project guidelines, purpose and follow-through to completeness - Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills required - Experienced in Microsoft Office products, intermediate to expert level Excel or other database reporting - Ability to work under stress, interruptions and tight deadlines Benefits Package Extensive benefits package that includes Medical with prescription coverage, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Account, 401k, STD, Company paid Life Insurance/AD&D and LTD, holidays, vacation.
Candidate would be responsible for the professional and efficient managing of visitors, clients, telephone calls and messages, as well as a variety of clerical duties, information and referral, and the operation and presentation of a professional office. Essential Functions and Responsibilities - Promptly, accurately, professionally and courteously receives and assesses all telephone calls and visitors. - Adept at using all features of the telephone system, including answering, screening, forwarding calls and placing calls into voicemail; providing information, taking messages and resolving complaints from clients and public. - Maintains knowledge of organization, location of offices, employees within organization and services provided. - Ensures knowledge of staff whereabouts and maintains accurate and complete sign-in/sign-out procedures for visitors and/or clients; Notifies supervisors/managers regarding staff absences/delays. - Scheduling meetings for conference rooms and conference bridges. - Assisting staff, clients and visitors. - Assists with clerical tasks or various other needs of the President/CEO and Executive Committee. - Conducts oneself appropriately and professionally; develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of community resources; provides information, referrals and follow-up. - Assists in other duties as needed and directed. Qualifications and Skills Requirements - Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required; or three to five years of related experience required; or an equivalent combination of training, education and/or experience. - Knowledge of Tadiran multi-line telephone system or similar system. - Must possess knowledge of personal computers; proficiency with Microsoft software, including Word and Outlook. - Advanced organizational, analytical, communication and coordination abilities, with systems approach. - Able to effectively manage multiple tasks and remain confidential. - Honest, trustworthy, positive attitude with out-going personality and the ability to handle stressful situations.
